Hi, I'm Adrian Vives, and I'm not your typical insurance agent.
Just six months ago, I was working in a large call center, feeling disconnected from the people I was trying to help. Day after day, I watched as seniors were rushed through conversations, treated like numbers instead of people with real lives and real concerns. I knew there had to be a better way.
Why I Started Vives Insurance
The turning point came during a call with an elderly woman. We spent fifteen minutes talking about her farm, the weather that week, her broken television, and the books she loved to read. We never discussed insurance that day. When we hung up, I had the biggest smile on my face—not because I made a sale, but because I made a connection.
That's when I realized what was missing: genuine human connection. I wasn't meant to help people from behind a desk in a corporate call center. I needed to meet people face to face, hear their stories, understand their lives, and truly get to know them before ever talking about insurance.
So I took a leap. I decided to build something different—a practice where people come first, where conversations aren't rushed, and where finding the right Medicare plan means taking the time to understand your unique situation.

When I'm not helping clients navigate Medicare, you'll find me outdoors. I've been with my girlfriend Sophie for six years—she's been by my side through every adventure, from hiking the trails at Cuyahoga Valley National Park to camping under the stars and casting fishing lines at dawn.
Family is everything to me. I'm the oldest of six kids, with siblings ranging from 4 to 19 years old. I love taking them to the movies, teaching them to fish, exploring nature centers, and showing them the beauty of Northeast Ohio through camping trips and hikes. Those experiences taught me patience, the importance of listening, and how to explain complex things in simple ways—skills that serve me well when helping clients understand Medicare.
Around Akron, you might catch me at a soccer, football, or basketball game, cheering on our local teams, or exploring the trails at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I believe in being part of the community I serve.
My Approach
I work with trusted carriers including SummaCare, CareSource, Anthem, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. But more importantly, I work for you. My goal isn't to push a particular plan—it's to find the coverage that fits your life, your doctors, your medications, and your budget.
